HMBM is on VACATION!!!

Okay....not yet....but soon.

I will be gone Wednesday August 27th - Tuesday September 2nd.......off for a little R&R with the hubby.

Please know that anything that is purchased from my Etsy on any of these days will be shipped out immediately upon my return. I will strive to get everything sent out on Wednesday or Thursday!! And I will be starting back up on my customs list on Monday, September 8th!!

Some new additions to the HMBM family....a pair of Notre Dame longies for ds (football season is only a week away)....a pair of "strawberry limeaide" longies that are listed on my Etsy.....and a pair of cupcake embellished capris. They were a custom yymn trade that I did for a pair of crocheted longies for ds!!!

Ooga Booga Madness

Everything Ooga Booga lately, lol. My stocking next week is Ooga Booga, my last custom was Ooga Booga and I just finished a set for charity. Whew.

My next stocking is a little light on items and I apologize. It is back to school time and I this year I have a Senior, a 7th grader and a kindergartener....and still one home with me. So it has been a mad house around here.

It looks like there will be a Large GN set (longies, tee and l/s tee), a Girly Medium set, a Newborn set, a hat and MAYBE (it is not finished yet, lol) a Medium Boy set.....

So I have decided to add a custom auction....to be knit up during my 2 weeks off. The hubby and I are taking a long weekend vacation with no kids and are driving to Alabama, so I will have so time to knit in the car.....

Getting Ready for School.

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Summer '08 is coming to a close and the kids are headed back to school on Monday. It will be just me and my little guy in the mornings. The peace is sure to do me some good.

I have been working hard on some really cute customs and getting ds's wool stash ready for the impending fall. Longies I have done for him.....Knight Set, MCZ Set, Wet Monkey Longies....longies I wanna do for him.....Ooga Booga Set, Tree Frog Set and probably another set when our GoodMama Print Bundle comes (I will do a set inspired by our favorite dipe).

I am also doing a trade with a mama who crochets. She is crocheting me some Winter Joy Purewool and I am knitting her some Cupcake Capris.

My Ooga Booga Stocking on HC is coming up at the end of August. I have decided to do a girl set, a boy set....both with longies. Two newborn soakers with matching wrap shirts (like the ones in the hospital) and list a custom auction. We will see how it goes!
